HISTORY
LG People was specifically established in Western Australia in 2012 to support research and development of integrated workforce planning to meet new regulatory requirements and provide resources and support for the implementation of the Workforce Plan.
In 2017 it was rebranded to LG People and Culture to reflect the increased range of services offered in consultation, early intervention, issue resolution, culture review and change management.
Now in 2024 the business has evolved and an intermittent alliance has evolved into our new entity LG Workforce Mastery that combines the skills and like mindedness of two innovative, well experienced professionals with an extensive knowledge of the Local Government sector.
Collaborative Consultant Marg Hemsley has spent 24 years consulting to Local Governments in the areas of workforce planning, people management, workplace culture and HR Risk Management. She is a Certified Practitioner of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a professional risk manager. Collaborative Consultant Davina Sandhu Davina brings expert HR experience , knowledge, and support to address gaps and issues in recruitment, terminations, HR systems and policies , industrial relations, mediation and performance management They are committed to the sector and offer value added, tailored and innovative services that meet the identified needs of the client. They are members of and Both have a network of like-minded professionals who support their services to deliver strategies where additional skill or capacity are needed for the best outcome for the client.
